This cutie was my good friend Jamie Jordan’s four-legged baby for many years and it was an honor to paint her.
I painted this puppy in acrylic and creating white fur with paint always has its challenges because you need to see past the white and bring out the underlying colors.
What I love most is that Lily’s eyes follow me no matter what angle I’m admiring her from. Even though she wasn’t mine, the softness I tried to bring out in her gaze makes her one of my favorite projects. Rest In Peace little Lily.
